Rehearsals
Bagpipe and drum rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Superior Christian Church on M553 in Marquette.
Bagpipe rehearsals are also available on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. at the firehouse in Hancock.
Community Schools
- Superior Pipes & Drums will be offering an eight week introduction to bagpiping, drumming, and highland dance via Marquette Community Schools starting on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 from 6pm - 8pm.
The classes will be held on the 3rd floor of the Graveraet School located at 611 N. Front St., Marquette MI.
Students will need to purchase and/or bring the following equipment:
For bagpiping - a practice chanter and tutor book available from

For drumming - Ralph Hardimon model SRH snare drumsticks available at Macdonalds Music in Marquette.
For highland dance - Comfortable exercise clothing, socks are okay-shoes not necessary. If you have ballet slippers, okay to use, but our shoes are different.
